LET’S MAKE IT
Step by step
- 01
Whisk together the soy sauce, honey, half of the sesame oil, and 2 tablespoons of water in a small jug.
- 02
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef, and break it apart with a spatula until browned (about 6 minutes).
- 03
Drain excessive fat carefully, pour the honey-soy sauce over the beef, and cook for 2 minutes until glossy and fully cooked through.
- 04
In a separate pan, saute the julienned carrots in a touch of oil for 3 minutes until softened; transfer to a plate.
- 05
In the same pan, wilt the fresh spinach for 1 to 2 minutes, drain any water, and toss with the remaining sesame oil.
- 06
Fry the 4 eggs sunny-side up in the pan over medium heat for 3 minutes until white parts are set.
- 07
Divide warm rice among 4 serving bowls, top each with portions of glazed beef, spinach, carrots, and a fried egg.
- 08
Serve immediately while hot.
