A LITTLE KITCHEN KNOW-HOW

Sadeko Marination

Tossing warm crunchy elements with raw aromatics, hot smoking oil, and citrus juice to build complex raw and cooked flavor layers.

Notes from the kitchen

  • Dry-roast soybeans patiently over medium heat so they cook evenly to the core without burning the exterior.
  • Pungent mustard oil provides the traditional kick characteristic of authentic Nepalese sadeko preparations.
  • Original home-cooking adaptation inspired by Nepalese; regional versions vary.
  • Use halal-certified meat, poultry, stock, sauces, cheese and other processed ingredients. Check labels and avoid cross-contamination. Recipe screening is not halal certification.
